We are aware of the difficulties breeders have in countries like Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and others, when they want to use a stud dog living in another country. Sometimes it is not even possible to go with the bitch all the way to the stud dog. Most of the time it is easier to use fresh or frozen semen for their bitches from a specific stud.  In many countries the problem is that it is still very difficult to import fresh or frozen semen, sometimes even impossible. The technique for insemination of Frozen Semen can also be a problem in many countries.

HOW TO USE A FOREIGN STUD DOG WITH OUR HELP

1. The bitch owner should contact us by e-mail or phone well in time before the bitch is in heat and we will tell you exactly how to proceed.
    

2. Normally we first ask you to contact the stud dog owner to get their approval for the breeding with your bitch and agree on the stud fee. In case of any
   language barriers we can handle this part as well, to any part of the world.
    

3. We will then contact the stud dog owner and discuss with them in detail how everything should be arranged and exactly what is expected from them.
    

4. When the bitch is in heat you should contact us again so we can start preparations both for determining the optimal timing and instruct the stud dog owner.
    

5. We will then advise you on the progesterone testing in your country. Most countries have the possibility to test the bitches if you know how to go about it.
   Human laboratory testing is often a possibility. We have contacts who can help with this.
    

6. When the first test is done you should inform us immediately of the result and we will give further instructions. Sometimes another progesterone test is needed to
   be able to determinate the exact day for the insemination. Normally we can determinate the date for the insemination 2-3 days ahead, thus having plenty of time
   for the practical arrangements with you and the stud dog owner.
    

7. We will be in contact with the stud dog owner and arrange with them the collection and shipment of the semen including tracking and possibly the pick-up from the airport.
    

8. All the arrangements will be done so the semen and the bitch arrive here in Espoo, Finland (15 min from Helsinki) at about the same time so that the bitch
   can be bred right away.
    

9. The paperwork and insemination is done in less than an hour and you are ready to head back home with a vision of a beautiful litter in 2 months time.

With our help you have no stress - we handle everything. The only thing you have to worry about is to get the progesterone testing done,
arrange the payment of the stud fee and get here for the day of the insemination - nothing else. The dog owner will mainly deal with us,
which often is easier, as we know the procedure having done it so many times before. Best of all:
