INTERESTED IN JOINING THE CLONE SYSTEMS?
CLONE has produced over 1400 litters with frozen semen, almost none were done surgically. The conception rate is around 87% with the Norwegian Catheter. 1984 - 1999 we bred 139 Labrador Retrievers with frozen semen, missing only 14, with an average litter size of 8 and the sex ratio of the puppies was 5 more males than females. In 1986 we utilized the endoscope for inseminations and still do today on problem bitches, however, it proved to be to time consuming. We now use trans-cervical inseminations utilizing the Norwegian Catheter when we inseminate with frozen semen.
The Chilled Semen conception rate in over 4000 breeding is about 86% sent around the world, inseminated by CLONE it is 94.2%. The CLONE chilled semen procedure was developed so a regular vaginal insemination could be performed since most of the Inseminators would be breeders and/or veterinarians which would not have the equipment or technology to inseminate other than vaginally.
We have 18 centers in the United States and 14 outside the United States.
For individuals interested in joining the worldwide network of CLONE EUROPE and becoming a CLONE CENTRE that specialises in reproduction and frozen semen:
1. The Clone Systems is proprietary information and you will have to sign a normal non-disclosure form not to revel our technology which you may use only to practice our freezing and insemination techniques and treat reproductive disease.
2. There is a written agreement between CLONE EUROPE and the new CLONE CENTRE. This agreement is basically to maintain quality control conditions.
3. An initial training session is about 4-5 days for most veterinarians with some reproductive experience.
4. Except for the microscope and sperm counter all the equipment you will need will be not be very expensive. We will supply you with an full list of all you will need and will get it for you if you would like. What is so great is we have developed the system to use very inexpensive equipment. Naturally if you have some of the equipment already your equipment expences will be lower.
5. The training session takes place in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, USA - or in in your facilities by special arrangement.
You may come to Chestre Springs if you like for a week to be trained and see how we work in our laboratory and we will have a place for you to stay. We would suggest this the first time as you will be able to see a lot more and see how we operate.
